Front Of House

The Front Of House sets the tone for the performance!!

The first place the patrons see is the front of the house as they enter the school or performance area. The theme is decided upon by the director of the performance and can be simple or elaborate, depending on the performance. The plays and dance recitals are more simple and the musical which runs for two weekends is more elaborate. Building on the theme, the area is decorated and concessions are set up, depending on their appropriateness to the theme and the desire for revenue.

How you can help

A willingness to work is all that is needed. One or two creative people to see the entire picture and decide on decorations and placement of concessions is also helpful.

It is a wonderful group of people who willingly jump in. No one lets you down, so the job gets done quickly and efficiently. It is really fun to see the crowds react to the theme, and really get excited about the performance.
