Evita — Feed the Kids

Evita

Rehearsals have begun for this year’s production of Evita. Our students will come together for a lot of singing, dancing, and acting for what will be a great show.

The parents of involved students are asked to support these efforts. The main volunteer opportunity is the Feed the Kids program. During February vacation week the entire cast, pit orchestra, and tech crew come together for the week's rehearsals. They are provided with meals, snacks and water. A menu is posted and parents are asked to help prepare, serve and clean up.

Tech week is the week before the show opens. Rehearsals start after school and can run into the evening hours. That week after school snacks, water and dinner are provided.

There is a charge of $50 per student to help cover the cost of supplies, but we really do rely on parents donating items as well. Students in the pit orchestra are charged $45 as they do not come to rehearsal the first Monday, February 19. Please contact us if financial assistance is needed.

Please volunteer to help with Feed the Kids. It is a great opportunity to meet other parents, see the kids as they work on the performance and have a really great time. Call or email either one of us with any questions you may have.
