Fringe Festival The fall musical, that zany Marx Brothers musical comedy Animal Crackers will be performed again in August in Edinburgh, Scotland at the 2008 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. See photos from Animal Crackers at the CCPOPS Photo Gallery.

Congratulations to the cast, crew and pit of Crazy For You. Thanks to all the teachers and CCPOPS volunteers who helped make the show such a success. Although the show is over, you can see photos at the CCPOPS Photo Gallery.

CCHS students performed The Actor's Nightmare by Christopher Durang, at the Massachusetts Drama Guild Festival on Saturday, March 1 at Weston High School. Click here for a message about the experience from the show's director, Ben Kendall.

CCPOPS-announce email list

All parents of students involved in performing arts at CCHS should sign up. Students should sign up too. The CCPOPS announce list is for sending time-sensitive or otherwise important information to the CCHS performing arts community, including the CCPOPS newsletter Noise from the cheap seats. Sign up for CCPOPS-announce. This does not sign you up as a member of CCPOPS. Please do that below.

CCPOPS membership

You can register for CCPOPS membership. Membership in CCPOPS is open to anyone willing to help. Let us know your areas of interest. This also registers you as a user of this web site and allows you to post comments on certain pages if you log in. This does not sign you up for the CCPOPS-announce email list. Please do that above.

The person we really need is you. We don’t know what we are missing without your participation. The talented young people involved in the performing arts at CCHS have wonderfully talented parents and we are so thankful that many parents give their time and energy to CCPOPS. There are lots of ways large and small that you can help CCPOPS with its mission of supporting the Performing Arts at CCHS. These are just some of the jobs that need doing (if you don't see something here that resonates for you, don't assume that we don't need you; we welcome all help, have lots of other jobs that require little time, and especially welcome new ideas).

Web Site

We have upgraded our web site software. This will give us some great new ways to communicate and coordinate our activities. If you find any technical difficulties with the new site, please drop a note to webmaster@ccpops.org and let us know.

We will be trying to keep this site up-to-date and useful for the CCHS performing arts community. If you see any errors or have information or events to add, please send the information to communications(at)ccpops(dot)org.
